About this collection

This collection showcases the architecture of Hamilton until 1965 providing a historical overview combined with recent examples of major works plus a brief insight into the future. The pages are taken from an issue of the New Zealand Institute of Architect’s Journal, the NZIA Journal, published in 1965 to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of Hamilton.

The New Zealand Institute of Architects Incorporated granted the University of Waikato Library a non-exclusive licence for an indefinite period to digitize the above material, for which we, the New Zealand Institute of Architects Incorporated are the copyright owner, and to make these available as part of the University of Waikato Digital Collections.
